AHP and entropy method-based study on fire risk assessment of the mine industrial square

Abstract: In order to assess the fire risk of the mine industrial square, through the analysis of five dimensions of features of industrial square, fire facilities, fire hazards, ability of fire coping and ability of fire management based on literature review and spot investigation, the system of fire risk assessment was established. Weight coefficients of each evaluation indexes were calculated through the method of AHP, and they were modified by entropy method. The fire risk of certain mine industrial square in Shanxi Province was assessed based on the comprehensive weight coefficients of each evaluation indexes. The results showed that the risk grade of certain mine industrial square in Shanxi Province is IV, which indicated that its fire risk is comparative dangerous. In the first grade indexes, the score of features of industrial square was the lowest, and scores of fire facilities and ability of fire coping were the lower. The practical measures and suggestions were proposed, which provided theoretical foundation and technical reference for enhancing the safety management level of the coal mine enterprise.
